Terms of Use

What this site is, what it isn’t, and where our responsibility ends and a contractor’s begins.

01

What this site is

Pikes Peak Foundation Repair, operated by OPO SEO LLC, is an advertising and referral service. We publish information about foundation problems in Colorado Springs and El Paso County, and we introduce homeowners to independent foundation repair contractors.

By using this site you’re agreeing to what’s on this page. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

02

We are not your contractor

We don’t carry out foundation repairs. We don’t employ, supervise, or control the contractors we introduce you to, and we’re not a party to whatever you agree with them.

Your contract for any work is between you and the contractor. Their quote, their warranty, their insurance, their licence, their permit, their workmanship. Read what they put in front of you before you sign it.

03

The information here is general

Everything on this site (what stair-step cracks usually mean, how Front Range clay behaves, what piers do, what a permit involves) is general information about foundations in this area. It is not an inspection of your house and not engineering advice.

No page here can tell you whether your foundation is sound. Only a licensed contractor or a structural engineer who has walked your property can do that.

04

Prices here are ranges, not quotes

The cost figures on this site describe what foundation repairs typically run in Colorado Springs. They are a starting point for a conversation, nothing more.

Only a written quote from a contractor is a price. What your job actually costs depends on the method, how much of the house is moving, access, soil, and what gets found once work starts.

05

Licences, permits and vetting

We check the contractors we introduce you to. That check is ours, it’s a starting point, and it isn’t a guarantee of anything a contractor does on your property.

You can and should confirm it yourself. Structural foundation work in Colorado Springs and most of El Paso County needs a permit from the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, and the contractor has to be registered with PPRBD. Their registration is public at pprbd.org. A structural engineer’s PE licence can be checked through DORA.

What we ask of you

  • Give us accurate details. We call the number you type in, so a wrong one just loses your enquiry.
  • Don’t submit someone else’s contact details without their permission.
  • Don’t use the form to send bulk, automated or commercial messages.
  • Don’t copy the content of this site for your own commercial use.

If you misuse the site or break these terms, and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

07

What happens when you use the form

Submitting the form asks us to get in touch. It doesn’t book anything, doesn’t commit you to anything, and doesn’t cost anything.

We may contact you by call or text at the number you gave us. You can tell us to stop at any time. How we handle what you send is set out in the Privacy Policy.

08

Links to other sites

Where we link somewhere else (a building department, a state licence lookup, a contractor), we’re pointing you at a useful source, not vouching for everything on it. What happens on another site is governed by that site’s own terms.

09

Limits on our responsibility

We publish this site in good faith and keep it as accurate as we can, but we don’t promise it is complete or error-free, and conditions at your house may not match what’s described here. The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the extent the law allows, we’re not responsible for loss arising from work carried out by a contractor, from decisions made on the strength of general information published here, or from the site being unavailable.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage arising from work performed by a contractor or other third party, even if you found them through this site. Where the law doesn’t allow a full exclusion, our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to $100.

Some laws don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10

Changes to these terms

We may change this page. The date at the top moves when we do, and continuing to use the site after that means the new version applies.

11

Colorado law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Colorado, unless the law requires otherwise.
